Jennifer A. Ruggiero
has served as the Director of the Office of Human Life and Dignity for the Diocese of Metuchen, NJ since 1997. She also serves as the Secretary for the diocesan Secretariat for Family and Pastoral Life, which, in addition to her office, includes the offices of Hispanic Ministry, Catholic Rural Ministry, Discipleship Formation for Children, Ecumenical and Interfaith Affairs, Family Life, Youth and Young Adult Ministry, and Multicultural Ministries.
Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Stevens Institute of Technology before she began her long and notable career in ministry and service to the Church. She holds a master’s degree in Moral Theology with a Concentration in Bioethics from Holy Apostles’ College and Seminary.
Jennifer has received the Faithful Servant Award from the Life Choices Resource Center in Metuchen for her ongoing commitment to upholding the sanctity of human life, the Pro-Vita Award from the Diocese of Metuchen, and the Benemerenti Medal from Pope Francis for her outstanding service to the Catholic Church.
Jennifer and her husband Frank live in Iselin and have 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren.
