Born and raised Catholic, during a long career as an engineer in Corporate America, Dan drifted from the faith and eventually left the Church. In late 2019, after spending his entire adult life as an atheist, he had a transformational experience which filled his heart with the love of God for the first time in his life.
He is currently a lay leader at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel in Cedar Knolls and is involved in various ministries. He has created and led leadership workshops, run discipleship groups, formed and guided discipleship quads, and facilitated over 500 hours of small group discussions. He has led the Alpha Ministry since 2020, emceeing and facilitating nearly a hundred sessions.
With Bachelor’s degrees in both Mathematics and Economics, as well as a Master’s degree in Computer Science, he is currently studying Catholicism at the Franciscan Institute.
