: The NJ State Catholic Youth Rally is a day-long event that gathers teens from across the state of NJ for a day of fun, sharing, Mass and more held at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. The day kicks off with a dynamic opening ceremony. Teens then get the day to enjoy the park and all the rides. The day concludes in the Plymouth Rock Arena with Mass, celebrated by a bishop of the State. This year’s principal celebrant will be Bishop Dennis Sullivan of the Diocese of Camden.
This year the date for the 20th Annual NJ Catholic State Youth Rally is Sunday, May 17th.
The NJ State Youth Rally is $45 a person and includes entrance into the park, a FREE return ticket, a 4-hour all you can eat buffet, Mass, the Opening Ceremony, and a Free Parking Pass (per 4 tickets).

: Tickets cost $45/person (youth or adult chaperone). Make checks payable to “Diocese of Paterson,” send check and ticket order to Catholic State Youth Rally, St. Paul Inside the Walls, 205 Madison Avenue, Madison, NJ 07940. Thus, please send a written ticket request with a check to cover the cost of the number of tickets requested, understanding that for every ten tickets purchased you receive one free. Therefore, if you need 11 tickets, order ten; if you need 22 total tickets, just order 20 and then you will receive 2 free, etc…
Registration and Payment Deadline
: May 1, 2015! Tickets will be mailed to parishes on May 5, 2015.
At lunch, you will receive a FREE return visit ticket to Six Flags to use before October 3, 2015.
Opening Ceremony w/Key Note at Showcase Theatre: 9:30am – 10:15am
Free Time in the Park: 10:30am – 5:30pm
Lunch begins at 12 Noon – 4pm
Music at the Plymouth Rock Arena: 5:30pm – 6pm
Mass at the Plymouth Rock Arena: 6pm w/Bishop Sullivan
After Mass: Free Time in the Park until closing at 8pm.
Each parish is responsible for providing transportation to and from Six Flags for their youth and chaperones. Be advised, for those parishes that are contracting with a bus company for transportation, the parish needs to secure a copy of the bus company’s certificate of insurance. Individuals who will be using their personal vehicles must understand that their
personal auto coverage
in the event of an accident. Furthermore, no chaperone may drive a minor child (under 18 years of age) in their car who is not themselves 25 years of age. Parishes may run a driver’s background check on any drivers through the NJMVC so as to discern suitability of a driving chaperone. Contact Rich Ziccardi if you need information about this.
One (1) free parking pass is provided for every four (4) tickets purchased.
: Lunch is served as a buffet, which addresses the needs of vegetarians. If there are more specific dietary needs, such as gluten free, please contact St. Paul Inside the Walls at (973) 377-1004.
: Chaperones must be 18 years of age or older. Chaperones driving with minors in the car must be 25 years of age or older. All chaperones who are coming for this one-time purpose must sign the diocesan Code of Conduct, available from Joan Valk. All chaperones who function regularly as such are required to complete a “Protecting God’s Children” program. Parishes should provide a background check for any and all chaperones. : Mass is Sunday Mass. Priests and deacons who wish to concelebrate should bring an alb and a white stole and chasuble. All priests and deacons concelebrating Mass and/or that will be attending the Youth Rally at Great Adventure should send a Letter of Suitability to the chancellor of the Diocese of Trenton, Mr. Anthony Mingarino, e-mail:
