In preparation for the 2023 Synod of Bishops on Synodality, Pope Francis has requested that each local Church engage in broad consultation with the People of God.

In order to do this within the time period allotted, the Diocese of Paterson is enlisting synodal delegates to conduct small group and individual consultations.  Many of these delegates will be nominated by pastors, heads of diocesan institutions and religious communities.  Others will simply volunteer, on their own initiative, through this registration form.

Synodal delegates will be prepared to conduct their consultations through a virtual orientation and training, and will be asked to complete their consultations and to submit input by March 1, 2022.
