As the Lineamenta document for the Synod on Evangelization observed, secularism has seeped into the lives of not only nonbelievers but even the mentality of Christians and ecclesial communities. This workshop will explore the subtle ways that secularism and postmodernism have come to influence our thinking and culture and what Catholic evangelists and communities can do to counteract these forces and rekindle the love of God in people’s hearts and imaginations.
