The staff of St. Paul Inside the Walls is delighted to host Bayley-Ellard High School alumni on the second Saturday of each October. Here are some important details for planning your visit:
Walk-ins are welcome, but be aware that there may be large anniversary groups with prescheduled tours.
There will be one Sunday-anticipatory Mass at 4 PM for all alumni.
Bayley-Ellard memorabilia will be on display.
Coffee, tea and water will be served, but we ask that no food or drinks are brought into the buildings.
Groups can bring their own food and drink for tailgating outside. If caterers are used or alcohol is being served, contact St. Paul Inside the Walls ahead of time to purchase event insurance (it is very affordable).
Advice for large groups
Anniversary classes often come in large groups, and they often travel long distances to attend Bayley-Ellard Day. To make the best use of everybody's time, the following schedule has seemed to be most preferable:
Schedule a tour in the late afternoon (2 or 3 PM). This can be done by contacting St. Paul Inside the Walls.
Attend the 4 PM Alumni Mass. This will count as your obligatory Sunday Mass, and will memorialize deceased Bayley-Ellard Alumni. Both the priest and music are provided, but if an alumnus is a priest, he may concelebrate.
Schedule a 5:30 or 6:00 PM dinner at a nearby restaurant in Madison or Morristown.
